FREEDOM HONOR FLIGHT
The Freedom Honor Flight honors our Veterans by hosting a flight to Washington DC so that they may experience the memorials dedicated to their service to our country. American Legion Riders form a flag line and watch WWII and Korean Vets coming off the plane after spending all day remembering their past accomplishments and sacrifices. Honoring them for their service, by those of us who are grateful to them for it, is what being an American is all about.
HOW CAN I BECOME AN AMERICAN LEGION RIDER?
In all cases, the prospective Rider must first be a current member, in good standing, in one of the three organizations of The American Legion Family:
* The American Legion
* The American Legion Auxiliary
* The Sons of The American Legion
1. Own a motorcycle and must possess a valid driver's license in your state of residence
2. Applicant must maintain proof of coverage for all motorcycle collision, medical, property damage and liability insurance required by local and state laws.
